This is a clinical trial of an ‘ARB’ drug (normally used to treat high blood pressure) in patients living with HIV infection, who are at increased risks of cardiovascular disease. The trial is designed to see if ARBs can reduce the risk of diabetes and reduce levels of harmful fats e.g. cholesterol.
